Description

All furnishings, equipment, and decorations in this spacious, 1900 square foot townhome are clean and new. If you’re looking for a fabulous place to stay while you take advantage of all the spectacular activities Steamboat Springs has to offer…look no further! This recently built unit is at the end of a new cul-de-sac and gets very little noise or traffic. Free bus service on the Steamboat Springs "Purple Line" to and from the base area stops close by every 20 mins.

Sleeping arrangements make this unit perfect for three couples or 2 couples with kids. It will sleep 8 comfortably in beds, but there is also a sleeper sofa in one bedroom to accommodate a small child. In addition to comfortable sleeping, this home features an open floor plan with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen featuring a granite breakfast bar and adjoining dining area. The living room has a stone gas fireplace and opens to the newly constructed spacious patio with BBQ grill and dining furniture. The upstairs bunk bedroom provides a TV nook as a great separate hang-out for kids with its flat screen TV, DVD player, and games.

A full-size washer and dryer are also located upstairs so you can pack a little lighter if you’re willing to do mid-week laundry. Free, high-speed wireless internet access is available in the unit for those who cannot leave work behind. Ski storage is provided in the attached garage. The city bus picks you up at the entrance to the town-homes which is a 2-minute walk. Or you can walk to the base of the mountain in about 10 minutes. The seasonally heated swimming pool is very well maintained, quiet and open from the end of May to the end of October. The two hot tubs are open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking staples and equipment if you elect to stay in for lunch or dinner instead of enjoying one of Steamboat’s many excellent restaurants.

Perfect spot for our family ski trip

We enjoyed our stay in 1588 very much. Our two adult children and their partners joined us for skiing and celebrating a birthday and our anniversary. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the walk in shower in the master suite, as well as having the washer and dryer upstairs. It would have been helpful to have more towels or some laundry soap available to wash towels after enjoying the hot tub and the hot springs we visited. Luckily our son brought his laundry soap along from college.
The kitchen had plenty for our needs, including some spices for cooking.
The place is rated for 12 according to the plaque in the garage. There were 6 of us, yet we couldn’t all sit in the living room together unless we used seating at the dining table. There is one couch for 3 and a very comfortable leather chair and a rocking chair. We would suggest adding a loveseat or couch instead of the rocking chair, so more could enjoy sitting together by the gas fireplace after a day on the slopes. Also suggest adding a smart tv for accessing our apps like Hulu, Netflix or Prime so we could enjoy a movie together.
These are small adjustments that would add to what was already a very lovely stay.
Conveniently close to the bus shuttle to the mountain so we didn’t have to drive and find parking. We would definitely consider coming back again the next time we visit Steamboat Springs.

This house was amazing. Enough space for everyone and close to mountain for skiing.
My main issue is there is supposed to be a hot tub in the complex but it was never hotter than 80 degrees during our stay. When we were looking for a ski house this was an important amenity for us. I understand this is of no fault of the owner. I feel it should be mentioned

I wish we owned this unit. Perfect for our group of 7 people. Very convenient location & perfect layout.
If you are looking to take advantage of the "discount lift tickets" make sure you book months in advance, or as far as possible.
We waited until we arrived to purchase our lift tickets, only to find out the discount vanishes 7 days before check-in. We paid $245. per person per day to ski. +++ Extremely expensive ski resort.
Loved the home, we should have just stayed in, and watched Netflix.

A great home for family. Great floor plan. 3 rooms upstairs with an "overflow" area that we could put empty suitcases and boxes in the "office area" and keep some nice space in the bedrooms. The kitchen was great and, of course, open to the living room. Retreatia was great in all aspects of information and answering questions about the property. We will book this property again. I recommend it to all families.

The house was great! Clean and spacious. Price was reasonable as well. We tried to bring a snowmobile trailer and parked it in the driveway not knowing they were not allowed. The HOA must be strict or one of the neighbors complained immediately.... only got about 10 hours into the stay before we got a call telling us to move the trailer right away. Other than that, it was great.

This property was ideal for families with kids! Ample space for kiddos to play and adults to hang out. Quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Our kids loved that they could ride their scooters outside and play in the awesome pool. Definitely would stay here again!

The house was great. Perfect location on the free bus route to the mountain. Huge open kitchen and living room area that worked out well for the 6 people that we had stay here. All bedrooms had enough space and the kitchen was stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. We also had an issue where there was a leak in the ceiling. Retreatia sent a maintenance person out immediately and took care of the problem.
