Description

This spacious condo at the base of the resort is spread out on 2 levels. The main floor has a large living area with warm hardwood floors, full kitchen and dining area with dramatic vaulted ceilings, a large TV and sound system, and a gas fireplace surrounded by river rock. Just off the kitchen is a fully remodeled full bathroom as well as a balcony with a beautiful western view.

The first floor hosts an extremely large bedroom, meant to be an efficiency apartment, with queen bed and full over full bunk beds, its own full private bathroom, and kitchenette and additional twin trundle bed. The second floor has an extra large master bedroom with a king bed, private bathroom, vaulted ceilings, and TV. The second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed with a private bathroom. There is also a twin bed in the loft area that overlooks the living room.

The condo has A/C on both floors for those warmer than average summer days. You'll also enjoy access to a private, one car heated garage and additional covered parking at the complex.

The Phoenix is situated on Apres Ski Way just opposite the gondola, and mere steps away from Wild Plum Market, the Beer Garden, Burger Bistro and a number of other shops and restaurants. Amenities at The Phoenix include a heated pool, sauna, hot tubs, outdoor grills/dining areas, and a fitness center.

Solid Place for Large Group

Not spectacular, but a solid place for a large group. Location is excellent - super short walk to the Gondola and the restaurants at the base. The bunk beds are comfortable and great for squeezing in a large group. Kitchen is a bit tight but not a problem. There was also always room in the 2 outdoor hot tubs. We had a small issue with one of the bunks having a crack and they immediately responded to the issue.

Ten minute walk to gondola. Can ski up to Apres Ski Way to return. Condo will sleep 14.
Retreatia is very responsive. Condo is comfortable, and clean.
There could be more coffee cups and bowls.

Great location to base of the resort. Needs some updating and bathrooms are very small in the bedrooms. Bathroom on main level was updated and more spacious than bedrooms bathrooms. Depending on how many people stay, could use some more seating in family room since that’s where we all spent our time together. Not bad but not great!

This is a large condo that can comfortably host a large family or two smaller families. It was a short walk to the gondola and it offered covered parking.

Pros:Spacious with some ski charm. Good location. Double oven aides in meal prep.
Cons: Dated and small bathrooms with the exception of the full guest bath next to the kitchen which was lovely. No extra blankets found if you wanted heavier bedding. Nonstick cookware needs refurbishment..
Overall a pleasant stay with minor issues. Would recommend.

Nice condo, great location, very spacious, rustic charm with ski/mountain touches. Beamed ceilings and well stocked kitchen. Tv had Netflix etc. which made the evenings more fun during COVID restrictions...lol! Complimentary shuttle convenient for chilly evenings, although just a block uphill from the gondola base. Cons: Bathtub/shower comode area very small, could be an issue for larger folks.. The bedding was very lightweight and no extra blankets were available if you wanted more, however the heating was adequate. Things were a bit dated and there were plenty of chipped dishes and an odd assortment of glasses and utensils and pans found in disjointed spaces you might never look.. Overall a pleasant stay. Would stay there again. Recommended.

Overall, we had a great stay. The condo is in a perfect location, and very close to town. It was spacious and we had room to spread out. One of the bedrooms was more of a studio so it had ample room.
It did get hot during the day, and although I read somewhere that a lot of condos/homes don't have air conditioning, that was a negative with staying in September. There was air conditioning in the master bedroom and the kitchen, but the rest of the condo did get hot.
It also would have been nice to have tupperware/storage containers and ziplocks/storage bags available. I find these in most rentals but didn't realize they didn't have anything to store food until we had already cooked a meal.
It was a nice, comfortable condo. We didn't use the garage, but it is nice to have. The pool was heated and hot tubs were great. Overall, a great stay!

Great location. Great unit. Nice decor, spacious, and clean. Beds in 126A were not very comfortable, but otherwise, we all very much enjoyed all of unit 126 and 126A
