Description

Fantastic One Bedroom Condo at The Rockies- This condo has a wide open floor plan complete with a full kitchen and granite counter tops. The owners have gone to great lengths in mitigating any noise in and around the unit. During the warmer months, cool down with newly installed ceiling fans. Go, cozy up to a warm fire and relax while watching the large flat screen tv hung right above the fireplace. Walk out on the balcony and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains that surround the area. The master bedroom is complete with a king bed while the living area is outfitted with a sleeper sofa. The complex has heated seasonal pool ( summer and winter ) and 2 hot tubs. During the summer there are grills outside as well as a sand volleyball court. Great value considering the location, amenities, and quality of the unit! The owners have redone the ceilings and added automated ceiling fans to reduce noise!

This is a great condo, cozy and very comfortable. The refrigerator is spacious, the kitchen is small but oh so well designed! The whole feeling of the condo is one of comfort and relaxation.

Nice place! Comfortable, cozy, a great place to hang out. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend this place. It is immaculately clean, well stocked in the kitchen and it was very enjoyable to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set.

Great location to Steamboat ski resort and downtown. Bus stop across the street made getting to the resort a breeze. Great swimming pool and hot tubs. Downfalls—
Loud upstairs neighbors. They kept us up until 4 in the morning the first night. My husband had to go ask them to stop. It was pretty tight quarters for our family of 4. Kitchen was missing some essentials like sponge/dishrags for washing dishes/countertops, scissors, functional can opener and space to put groceries. The condo was also not as clean as advertised or expected.
Overall, it was a good place for the money. Retreatia was great to work with.

This rental was next door to my sister’s townhome so location was everything. Check in/out was so easy and the apartment had everything we needed. I liked the decor too.

This was a great stay. 5 minute walk to the mountain. Condo had everything you needed. Staff went above and beyond to help return an item we left behind. Will be back.

This condo worked great for us for our ski trip. The bed was really comfortable and the common space and kitchen worked really well. We were able to walk to the lifts making for a fun and easy ski day.

Great location near the mountain with a free bus shuttle to the mountain base, sparkling clean, incredibly comfortable bed, good kitchen amenities. The upstairs neighbor was quite loud, but that didn't affect our stay.

Bus transportation was very easy with bus stop right in front of condo. Loved the hot tubs and pool after skiing. Steamboat was great -- we'll definitely be back!

This was a great place to stay and get away. The location was very close to most hikes and other activities that we did during the day. At night we really enjoyed being able to relax on our own balcony and enjoy the views.

We stayed 2 nights and loved this condo. The location is great with easy access to the Gondola Square and the city bus stop. We walked to the Gondola from here. The condo is very comfortable and clean. We slept great on the king size mattress. The kitchen has everything you need and the balcony is amazing. The check in and out process was a breeze. We look forward to staying here again.

The entire family was woken by heavy equipment at 3 am on our departure morning. There was at most 3 in of light snow that had fallen overnight, so I have no idea why it was necessary to impose the complex residents to that intensity of noise at that early of an hour. The noise was extremely loud—very obnoxious banging and scraping for hours. There was already packed ice all through the parking lot when we arrived; why did they choose to try to break up the ice at 3 am? It was ridiculous. We were all annoyed and frustrated and not able to sleep, then had to drive through nearly white-out conditions (all of the cars had hazard lights flashing due to the bad conditions) on Rabbit Ears Pass and Cameron Pass, which was quite dangerous given the lack of sleep. Also your instructions for finding the hot tub—“in the middle of the parking lot”, are not at all clear.

This condo is just wonderful! It is very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable, and a very enjoyable place to spend a weekend. Very close to the mountain, right next to a shuttle stop, and an easy drive to downtown Steamboat. The pull out couch in the living room makes it easily sleep 3-4. It is a very nice place to come "home" to after a day at the hot springs, hiking, or skiing. Highly recommend it!

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at The Rockies through Retreatia. . We're always satisfied. Pictures are always accurate. This was actually our favorite so far! Only two complaints. 1) - the drain in the tub was extremely slow...almost 5 minutes to empty. Told the gentleman on the day we checked out. 2) - even with the heat completely turned off, the unit was still extremely hot. We went fishing all day, came back at 6pm and it felt like a sauna. We didn't want to leave any windows or the sliding door open while we were gone. It did cool down about a half hour after we got back. Otherwise, #2428 is perfect. Comfortable king size bed, perfect size living room and kitchen.

Very nice condo.
Quiet and in a beautiful part of town.
Only issues were bathroom related. Tub was very slow to drain and the fan did not work.
Would definitely stay again!

The Rockies 2428 is a very nice little condo. Clean, very comfotable bed, and great location. Even had a moose outside one morning. Used the laundry a couple times and it was very clean. Kitchen could use one large frying pan is the only complaint. Will stay here again next time I;m in town. Thanks for being so easy to work with.

Absolutely perfect! This was the perfect place for the 3 of us. Check in was super easy, the condo was clean with all the promised amenities. From every kitchen utensil needed and plenty of extra towels to humidifiers and a closet of games, everything was available. The bed was super comfortable and the pull out couch was great for my 19 year old. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tubs after a long day of skiing the slopes and having laughs in front of the fireplace. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! Thank you!
