Cowboy Roundup Days and July Fourth Celebration
Jul 03,2026 - Jul 05,2026Steamboat’s Cowboy Roundup Days brings three full days of celebration to town over the Fourth of July weekend. Festivities kick off on Thursday with ski jumping competitions at historic Howelsen Hill and continue into the evening with the Pro Rodeo Series at Brent Romick Arena.
Friday, July 4th, is packed from morning to night. Start the day with the Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast, followed by Nordic events and the beloved Fourth of July Parade along Lincoln Avenue. The afternoon features elimination ski jumping competitions, live DJ sets, and free concerts at Steamboat Resort. The evening continues with another round of Pro Rodeo action before wrapping up with a sky-illuminating drone show and late-night music.
The celebration carries into Saturday with the Yampa Street Farmer’s Market and another evening of rodeo excitement, rounding out a weekend filled with Western heritage, live entertainment, and patriotic fun.
