This unit is very nice. The photos are very accurate and the description is somewhat accurate. There are two things which are slightly misleading. First, the description indicates that it’s a “”ski in/ski out”. It is definitely a ski out, but it’s really not a ski in. You have to walk back uphill to get back. There is a shuttle at the base of the mountain that takes you back to the complex if walking uphill in ski boots is a problem. Secondly, the fitness center/hot tub is not in the building where the unit is located. You have to walk across the complex to get to that area. Also, the fitness center doesn’t open until 8:30 am. So, if you workout early in the AM like I do, the fitness center really isn’t an amenity. Overall, this is a very nice place and I would likely rent it again.

We (myself, my wife, 2 teen boys) stayed over Christmas and the unit was great for our needs. The unit was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The first floor ski locker and community ski-in/ski-out trails made it really easy to quickly get to the base and come back to the unit for lunch. My wife used the gym in the other unit and we used the community shuttle to go to the base one afternoon. The comfortable furniture and huge TV were great for watching the Ravens get a win one afternoon. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the showers could use an update at some point.

Great location for ski in/out. Both the development shuttle and Retreatia shuttle were easy to use and gave us access to anywhere we wanted to go. The condo was clean and well kept up. Perfect for our family of 5. We even enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna in the development. Would pick this place again!

It’s a very nice place and close to tons of activities. It must be great during ski season, as well. Check in and out was easy at the Retreatia office. Everything went very smoothly throughout.
The only think I could change is that the sliding door to the balcony was unable to be locked, which gave me some worry about our youngest child possibly going out there by himself - it’s a 4th floor unit so it was a long way to the ground. A locking handle or security bar would be a nice addition.
Overall, a wonderful place!!

The unit was excellent and was perfect for us. The view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was as described. I wish they were clear about the fact that the washer and dryer is not in the unit and is a coin-operated laundry in the main floor. Other than that, it was perfect. Great location and amenities.

We loved our time at Storm Meadows - the condo was perfect for 5 people, it would be a stretch to fit 6 with only a pullout sofa. The views were amazing and the condo had all the amenities we needed. The only downfall for us was that the elevator was broken for a few days during our stay and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs in our ski gear. We would stay here again!

True ski in/out experience. Nicely appointed and maintained unit. Convenient to the Steamboat Villiage with an efficient shuttle that runs till 10:45 and is on demand. Mostly we didn't wait too long for the shuttle. The unit itself is comfortable. The instructions need updating as the Ski locker assignment was not correct on our check-in instructions and only one of the keys provided worked in the ski locker. The tub in the Master was slick and could use some stick on grips. There is no DR Table but there are bar stools and a small island for 3-4 persons to gather around. We recommend throwing away the chipped non-stick pans and perhaps not using non-stick at all as it is often abused and then peels.

Clean, comfy condo with great slopes access. Didn’t use the retretia shuttle on this trip but that seemed like a great option to have.

Really nice place! Beautiful view off the porch. Kitchen is well equipped and really nice furniture - comfy beds. Great for a long weekend skiing in steamboat.
For the ski in-ski out it’s not directly on a trail - there’s about a 150-200 yard trail that you have to walk up to get back to the place. It’s not a bad walk (a little uphill) but just wanted to make other people aware.
Would stay again!

We really enjoyed this property and would stay here again. Our only critique was there were no hangers in the closets and the hot tub was in the building next door, not our building. The views and ski access were awesome for us!
