Renee Martindale
Housekeeping Manager
Renee was born and raised in Oak Creek, Colorado, and is proud to call the Yampa Valley home. Growing up in a small mountain community taught her the value of hard work, integrity, and caring for others—values that have guided her throughout her life and career.
With more than 42 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Renee has dedicated herself to providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards. She has been part of the Retreatia Team since 2020, where she continues to pursue her passion for hospitality and creating positive experiences for guests and homeowners. Renee believes hospitality goes beyond keeping things clean and organized; it means creating an environment where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. She takes great pride in leading by example, building strong teams, and helping others succeed.
Family is the foundation of Renee’s life, and her faith plays an important role in how she serves her community. One of her greatest joys is working with children and horses. For more than 30 years, she has directed a Horsemanship Bible Camp through her church, combining her love for horses with her passion for mentoring young people. Watching children grow in confidence, character, faith, and horsemanship has been one of the most rewarding parts of her life.
Whether she is leading a housekeeping team, spending time with family, serving through her church, or working with children and horses, Renee brings warmth, compassion, and dedication to everything she does. She remains grateful for the relationships and experiences that have shaped her journey, with a simple goal: to make a positive difference in the lives of others through service, faith, kindness, and a commitment to excellence.
