Escape to the mountains in this perfectly located two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo at The Lodge. Updated and with an alpine aesthetic, this condo is a block to the Steamboat Ski Area and around the corner from restaurants, retail, and the happenings at the Resort. Elevate your stay with access to the amazing amenities at The Lodge including a winter and summer seasonal pool, both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, and community grills. The Front Desk is staffed for your convenience and winter shuttles make getting out to ski or around town easy.

The light from the picture window greets you as you enter this single-story condo. The open concept living area is ideal for gathering and lounging after powder turns. Kick back and share the adventures of the day around the fireplace while the chef in the family stays engaged in conversation from the kitchen. The large dining table seats six with space for four at the breakfast bar. In fair weather, soak up more moments together and dine al fresco on the patio.

After a long day of mountain adventure, retire to the primary bedroom with a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin over full bunk bed. There is a shared bathroom in the hall with tub and shower combo. Additional sleeping space in the living room with a queen sofa sleeper.

We appointed condo, walking distance to gondola, helpful staff. Only issue is the beds are in need of repalcement, way to soft.

The Lodge is a great complex, and super close to the base. It made it easy to get to the hill and back whether by foot, or a Lodge managed shuttle. The condo itself, Lodge E304, was also a nice cozy place. It had all the amenities we needed, plus a pool and a few hot tubs to choose from. The fit and finish of the condo needs some TLC however, which is why it is getting 4 stars. Some items were in need of repair, but nothing that lead to it being an unusable place. Small things, like a busted light switch, a broken paper towel holder, the dishwasher not being mounted to anything in the cabinet space, etc, need to be addressed, but definitely not deal breakers, and expected in a vacation rental. The biggest issue we had with the unit was the queen bed. That mattress was like a trampoline. Picture this, you're on a trampoline with your partner just laying there having a snooze, you roll from your left side to your right, and "BOOM!" you double bounce them right off the trampoline on to the ground! Moving around in the bed was almost just like that! Also, with the space that is available in the master bedroom, there is easily room for a king. I know the headboard is rustic and really fits the theme of the condo, but man, that mattress has got to go. A nice upgrade would be moving to a king, but a definitely needed upgrade is the quality of the queen mattress. Other than that, we love the place.
