Description

Located high in the trees, this four bedroom plus loft private home is the perfect place for your next ski vacation. Stunning ski area and valley views, two private decks, a private hot tub, and hiking right out your back door await the lucky guests who choose to stay in Steamboat Haus.

From the moment you pull up the driveway you will never want to leave. A large coat room just off the garage and at the entry has space to remove your gear, making it easy to go from recreation to relaxation in just a few minutes. The vaulted entry and beautiful log stairwell lead immediately to the main living area. The cathedral ceiling and large pictures windows draw your gaze straight out to the valley floor.

The open kitchen, dining, and living area are the perfect place for the entire group to gather and relax. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and every accessory needed to whip up a quick snack or gourmet meal. There is seating for four at the bar. The large dining table seats six. The living area has a large leather sofa and two cozy armchairs. The gas fireplace with river rock extending to the upper floor anchors the room on one side, while the flat screen TV and large picture windows with views of the entire west valley floor are on the other.

From the dining area, you can walk out the large, sliding glass doors to a private patio with hot tub, gas grill, and a table that seats 4. This is perfect place to unwind after a long day outdoors. The expansive deck can be accessed through the door to the left of the fireplace. With the west-valley and mountain views, you won't find a better place to watch the sunset with an evening beverage. The main floor also has a half bathroom, and large wash room with full size washer/dryer and a second access to the patio and hot tub.

The first two bedrooms are located on the entry level. Both have queen beds and plenty of space to stretch out. The second has large picture windows with down valley views. The bathroom for both of these bedrooms is in the hallway. The sandstone tile is warm and inviting as is the the large, walk in shower. The master bedroom is located on the main floor just to the left of the stairwell and comes complete with king bed, flat screen TV, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and soaker tub, plus a door to the private balcony.

The fourth bedroom is on the third floor. This room has a vaulted ceiling, cozy queen bed plus twin bunk bed. The bathroom with walk in shower, is just outside in the hallway. The third floor also has an open loft space that overlooks the living, dining and kitchen areas. With a baby grand piano, leather sofa, arm chairs. and games galore, this a great space to sit and relax.
