You have to go to the Retreatia office to check in, but they were quick and it was easy to access the house one we had all the information from check in. The house had plenty of room for the 8 adults and 4 teenagers who stayed there. The kitchen had the bare essentials for cooking/baking about anything you need. The hot tub was great. The beds were extremely firm. There was no TV in the living room which didn't go over well with our group during March Madness but there was one in a master bedroom and one in the family room in the basement. As for location, it's a great location if you're skiing. As far as in walking distance to the gondola...yes and no. Yes if you have young legs or are not wearing ski boots and carrying skis. However, they had a fantastic on-demand shuttle service that operated on its own Uber-like app.

The Chalet was the perfect home away from home for our extended family vacation. Within walking distance to all the fun at Gondola square and an easy drive down to the river and downtown. There is plenty of room and cabinets filled with books and games to entertain. The hot tub is perfect and the seating for so many was wonderful for our evening meals. Plenty of bathrooms and sleeping places. We had 10 and could easily have had more and felt there was plenty of room. We'll look for this place again for our next Steamboat trip.

House was excellent! Could use TV in living room, but house was very nice! Appreciated all the great decor. Service from retreatia was excellent. We'll be back!

Great house for our group of 10 plus baby! Every bedroom has a bathroom, table seating for 10, large living space and downstairs rec room! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Working with Retreatia was great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The chalet was only okay as the house could use some maintenance and upgrades. The hot tub was divine and the shuttle service was very nice when it was available.

Beautiful property. Close to everything. Has the smallest tv ever in the living room so it made it hard for us college football fans to watch games at night. Overall great property. Will definitely try to book that house again next year.
