Description

When the builders named this condo complex Yampa View they weren't kidding, and as soon as you walk through the sliding glass doors onto your private balcony to see the south valley, Emerald Mountain, and Sleeping Giant spread out below you, you'll understand what "The Curse of The Yampa Valley" is all about - you will never want to leave. Of course, the spacious, open floor plan with brand new furniture and fixtures will also make you rethink the need to ever go home. Entering the front door, you'll notice the rich hardwood floor, plush couch and cozy accent chairs. Kick back and relax while watching the fire or catch the game on the flat screen TV. Flow from the living room into the kitchen and back as you enjoy an apres ski aperitif. The full kitchen has brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a plate full of appetizers or a gourmet meal. The master bedroom has a queen bed and attached bath. The second bedroom has a full over full bunk bed and full bath just outside in the hall. Both bathrooms have been redone and feature new tile and a clean, crisp feel.

This condo complex is situated just half a mile from the slopes. There are two (2) outdoor hot tubs that also overlook the valley, plus an exercise room and on site laundry facilities.

Wonderful Stay! Great Ski Slope Access via Shuttle.

Lodging was perfect. Ski locker was large, convenient and warm for gear. Ski shuttle and shuttle to/from Steamboat/resort was excellent and easy to use. 2 hot-tubs made it easy to not fight crowds. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this Vrbo and the shuttle service was so quick and useful! Never heard any neighbors and checkin/out was a breeze!

Such a convenient location, right near the mountain with a beautiful kitchen, and perfect fit for a girls weekend. Nice little touches here and there and such an easy check in process. Would stay here again!

Great little condo for the price! My husband and I stayed here with 3 other friends and it worked out perfectly! It’s not luxurious and the updates were not perfect, but it was more than adequate for a ski trip! The beds were comfortable (semi-firm memory foam mattresses) and the pull out mattress in the living was nice for a smaller person (also memory foam).

The kitchen was well equipped! It has a crock pot which was great for cooking dinner while we went to the slopes!

The master bathroom was really small, but still functional!

The view was INCREDIBLE! Watching the sunset was so special!

The bus situation was super convenient!!! We were given a number to call and when we were ready to hit the slopes, we gave the driver a ring and he took us straight to the mountain (a quick drive)!

Overall it was super cozy and very convenient for skiing steamboat!

This condo is spectacularly appointed, large public spaces and kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and spectacular view of the Yampa Valley opposite the ski resort. Would absolutely stay in again!

Great accommodations, beautiful views, and a cozy and functional space to share with family on your vacation. We took about a week long ski vacation at the busiest time of the season and opted for this place instead of the teeny-tiny ski-in-ski-out place we usually stay (where there is no private common space or kitchen/dining area to hang out in). Definitely a welcome adjustment and we hardly missed being able to ski in and out thanks to the included shuttle service. Retreatia was very responsive to all of my pre-trip questions as well as questions and requests that came up during our stay. There’s tons of room to stash groceries in the fridge and cabinets and the kitchen was stocked with ample gear for all our cooking and dining needs. You won’t regret booking here!

Very good location to the mountain, and it also has a shuttle that picks up. Beautiful views, show trees lit across the valley. Was a great time overall.

Beautiful condo with beautiful views of the valley! The shuttle included with the rental was quick and convenient. All shuttle drivers and phone operator staff we spoke with were incredibly helpful. The building was quiet and we never heard any neighbors. The showerheads were mounted pretty low so you have to duck a bit and the toilet in the main bathroom ran constantly, but nothing that prevented me from having a fantastic weekend in Steamboat!

A nice place by the mountain and its worth the stay. Take advantage of the free busses and shuttles. As well make sure you enjoy your time.

The condo appeared to be very newly renovated. It was beautifully done! We loved the distance (walkable) to multiple restaurants and activities on the base of the mountain. The bedrooms were perfectly situated for our needs (queen in one room and full size bunk beds for the kids). The views of the valley were wonderful to wake up to and we had an amazing sunset view.
